Tropical Chia Smoothie

With the average temperatures ranging somewhere between 35 and damn hot. We thought it might be a good time to share a quick refreshing drink recipe with you. Besides the obvious benefit of bringing your core temperature back into humanly acceptable range, this little drink also has the nutritional benefits of Omega-3 boost, healthy dose of dietary fiber, a potent hit of potassium, a bone strengthening dose of Calcium and more than a dash of Magnesium. And the cool thing is that making it is a snap:

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 cup frozen mango pieces
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple pieces
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon Runivore Chia Seeds

RECIPE:
Blend all ingredients until nice and smooth. Pour into two glasses. Sprinkle Runivore Chia Seeds on top for effect!
Drink up, and enjoy!

And if you’re feeling a little adventurous, you can exchange the mango for strawberries or passion fruit.
